This is a customer from the Dominican Republic in North America, a well-known building materials wholesale company with a wide product line coverage. This is our first cooperation, and the customer's initial purchase scale is 250 tons, with products including angle steel and flat steel.
For the both angle steel and flat bar, they are produced according to ASTM A53 standard. For the equal angle steel, the size include: 38.1mm x 38.1mm x 3mm x 6.1m, 50.8mm x 50.8mm x 6mm x 6.1m, 76.2mm x 76.2mm x 6mm x 6.1m, 101.6mm x 101.6mm x 6mm x 6.1m, etc., total 200 tons.
For the Flat bar, the specifications include: 38.1mm x 3mm x 6.1m, 25.4mm x 4.5mm x 6.1m, 50.8mm x 3mm x 6.1m, etc., with a total weight of 50 tons.
After receiving our quotation, the customer compared the prices and services of multiple Chinese suppliers and ultimately chose to cooperate with us, paying a 30% advance payment.
After three weeks of intensive and orderly production, all angle steel and flat steel were successfully completed. We took a large number of photos and videos, documenting in detail the process of measuring dimensions (including key indicators such as width, thickness, length, etc.). After confirmation by the customer, we used waterproof cloth to properly package the product. After receiving the final payment from the customer, the project enters the shipping phase.
The customer did not choose container shipping this time, but instead used bulk carriers for transportation. Although the shipping cycle is longer, the transportation cost is more advantageous and the cost-effectiveness is higher, especially suitable for customers with abundant inventory.
After several months of sea transportation, the customer completed customs clearance and received the goods smoothly, giving satisfactory feedback on our products and services, laying a good foundation for long-term cooperation between both parties.
